Dear Assailants, Attackers, Script Kiddies and Crackers et al:

While i will admit to having been mildly flattered when i first discovered you were attempting to access restricted files on my server, i must confess that i am now only amused and puzzled. I am paying attention; i see it quite clearly in my logs when you attempt to view /info.php and other files that either never existed, or existed long ago and only temporarily, for debugging purposes. and yes, it's cute, in that "oh, baby fell down!" kind of way. but mostly, it's just kinda of weird.

Mine is a, if you're feeling generous, half-finished site of no importance. To my knowledge, there isn't anything even interesting on my site, be it content, or part of the backend. Why, of the many sites out there to be dicking with, are you dicking with mine? Seriously, what's up? The email links work; drop me a line.

so, i'm finally getting techshots up off the ground. there's nothing there but the first round of images yet, but depending on how things go tonight, i may well have the templating system rewritten to work with them. whether i have a template set up for them will be another story all together. also, there's something new in the gallery.

3:10:00 AM : progress!

wow, it's only, what, 7 months later, and i've managed to cross the two least important off the site's to-do list. i've managed to get the site's css to look less crappy in general, and way less ass-tacular in Konqueror. i also finally got something figured out for the Thing-of-the-day. and now that i'm using linux, i might have found a program that will actually do what i want as far as webcams are concerned, though i may have to work to find one that does what i previously had going with regards to a deskcam. huzzah for progress!

10:47:00 AM : baby steps

the news blog is finally ready. still divided over whether or not "blog" is a vile and evil abbreviation, or just mildly annoying/amusing. in the mean time, the remaining things still need to be done:

• fix the CSS so that Konqueror doesn't throw a fit
• fix the CSS so that Mac browsers won't throw a fit
• figure out what to do with the Thing of The Day
• figure out what to do with the shirts section
• get the webcam working
• get some damn content up, finally
• get some alternate style sheets up, finally

i'm not really expecting any of those things to be accomplished real soon now. i haven't got ready access to a Mac to do any testing there, and i'm most likely too lazy to boot into linux. also, i'm not the most competent of css designers, as you can see, so even if i had ready access, or weren't a lazy bastard, it's doubtful if i could quickly figure out what exactly i'm not doing right.
